The Hammer Ride consists of FREE 30 and 60-mile supported rides beginning and ending at Cahaba Brewing Company with 100% of rider-raised dollars going to support and bring awareness to the Lakeshore Foundation’s youth and adult cycling programs. Enjoy a social hour with food and beverages and entertainment following the rides.
The ride begins at 12pm and is for all levels of cyclists – you go at your pace! We will announce winners so anyone wanting to participate in the race portion will start in the front, while people more interested in training will start towards the back. Parking is available near the start of the race at 4500 5th Ave S Building C, Birmingham, AL 35222. CLICK HERE to register for the Hammer Ride.
Fundraising Levels
Everyone who registers for Hammerfest or the Hammer Ride becomes a fundraiser for Lakeshore Foundation. There are five fundraising levels with different incentives for each level. All participants will receive a post-ride meal courtesy of Taziki’s.
$100 – Hammer Ride drink wristband*
$250 – All items in $100 tier plus Hammerfest t-shirt
$500 – All items in $250 tier plus (2) VIP race passes for Saturday
$1,000 – All items in $500 tier plus 10’x10’ area reserved along Hammerfest route on Saturday
$2,500 – All items in $1,000 tier plus Hammerfest Jersey
*If $100 is not raised, beer can be purchased.
